Summary:
Most people don’t talk about colonoscopies, let alone get one. However, the team at Intermountain Health sought to address that stigma by taking a large inflatable colon throughout Utah. Join us for our January luncheon to learn how multiple teams at Intermountain came together to organize a public awareness campaign with a clear objective — increase the number of colon cancer screenings in Utah to save more lives.
The Intermountain Health Colon Tour has been recognized nationally with a PRSA Silver Anvil Award, along with the 2024 Golden Spike Award for Best of Show. Learn from the team as they delve into the success of the Colon Tour, which resulted in a remarkable 17% increase in scheduled colonoscopies at Intermountain facilities and garnered significant media attention with 574 stories. Join us to learn more about their innovative approach to raising awareness and encouraging life-saving screenings across Utah.
