Summary:
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and the Utah PRSA Chapter will be hosting a panel discussion during its May professional development luncheon to talk about the impact of mental health in the workplace and the need for communications professionals to prioritize their own mental health and wellness needs. Communications professionals often work in pressure-packed, deadline-driven environments that often place the needs of others ahead of our own. Communicators need to work to safeguard and strengthen their mental health for their own well-being and that of their families, friends and others. Bonus: This session will help you be a better asset to your organization.
Panelists:
- Hillary Koellner, Public Information Officer, Utah Department of Public Safety
- Sgt. Cameron Roden, Public Information Officer, Utah Highway Patrol
- Nick Stagge, Founder and CEO, The Grounded Company
- Jamy Dahle, LCSW, Director of Counseling Services & Wellness Promotion, Utah Tech University
